Manuka Oil has so many uses for your families health and skincare needs.
Manuka Oil is a broadspectrum anti-inflammatory with mild antibiotic, antispetic, anti-viral and anti-fungal properties. The oil is a complex mixture of sesguiterpene compounds with a green fresh aroma.
New Zealand Manuka Oil is similar to Tea Tree Oil.
Applications:
Bath, massage, inhalation, diffusion, sauna, room fragrance and perfume.
How to use:
Bath: Put a couple of drops of Manuka Oil into the bath for relaxation.
Massage: Blend with olive oils and other essential oils as you desire.
Inhalation: Assists with sinus, colds and flu. Place 5 - 6 drops of Manuka Oil into a container of boiling water and inhale the steam from the basin.
Mouth ulcers, sore gums, bad breath, cuts and bruises: Apply oil to affected area or add 3 - 4 drops to water and use as a mouth wash. Can also add a couple of drops on toothpaste when brushing teeth.
Oil burner: Add 3 - 4 drops into water and gives a lovely green aroma.
Bee stings: Apply pure oil to the sting to relieve the pain.
Nail fungus treatment with Manuka tea tree oil proven to be highly effective. Scientific studies have confirm that Manuka tea tree oil is 5-10 times more effective in controlling selected tinea fungi than Australian Tea Tree oil. To treat Nail Fungus properly it will be necessary to cut away the affected nail entirely until there is only healthy nail remaining, and you may need to visit a chiropodist to do this. Once this is done, apply Manuka oil 2-3 times daily to the infected area until the new nail has completely grown out.
