This wine is a complex blend of Merlot from Villa Maria's most prestigious vineyard sites in the Gimblett Gravels sub region: Omahu Gravels, Ngakirikiri and Twyford Gravels vineyards. Deeply coloured, displaying perfumed ripe plum aromas, it is rich and densely concentrated and with careful cellaring this wine will mature gracefully.
This New Zealand wine like all Villa Maria wines is sealed with a screw cap so that it reaches you just as the winemaker intended.
